학업 성적만 우선시하는 미래 사회는 일방적인 지시와 이익으로 유지되었고 소통의 부재, 친구의 소멸을 가져왔다. 소심하지만 마음의 온기를 버리지 못하고 있던 고등학생 윤이 AI 로봇 수지를 만나 자기가 가장 필요로 하는 건 친구라는 것을 깨닫고 굳게 닫힌 문을 연다.
A future society where the concepts of communication and friends have disappeared. High school student Yoon meets AI Sooji, realizes that what he needs most is a friend, and opens a closed door.
현대사회 속 소심하게 살아가는 모든 이들에게 적극적으로 나아갈 수 있는 용기를 주고 싶었다.
I wanted to give everyone who lives timidly in modern society the courage to move forward actively.

Yonghwa suggests to Mirae, who was being bullied, that he will not bully her if she brings another friend.
겉과 속이 다른 것은 어쩔 수 없는 인간의 본성이라고 생각했고, 그런 지점들을 학교폭력이라는 소재를 통해 비판하고 싶었다.
I thought it was inevitable human nature to be different on the outside and the inside, and I wanted to criticize such points through the topic of school violence.

온 신경이 고3 오빠에게로 가있는 집안 분위기, 그 사이에서 채린은 찬밥 신세이다. 모난 곳 하나 없지만 아직 중학생이라는 이유로 서운함을 꾹꾹 참아야 했던 채린. 꼭 도움이 필요한 순간에도 오빠의 입시설명회 때문에 자신에게 오지 못하는 엄마에게 결국 자신의 마음을 털어놓게 된다.
A growing drama in which adolescent girl Chaerin breaks down the sadness that she has hidden because of a minor incident, and with this, she understands her family even deeper.
가족은 참 모순적인 관계이다. 어떨 땐 그 무엇과도 바꿀 수 없을 정도로 소중하다가도, 걸고 싶지 않을 정도로 싫어지기도 한다. 하지만 결국 가족은, 이해 안 가고 서운하더라도 결함까지 사랑하며 함께 성장해 나가야 하는 관계이다.
Family is such a contradictory relationship. However, in the end, the family, even if they don't understand and are upset, loves flaws and has to grow together.

정균은 하루도 빠짐없이 연습하는 형 정호를 롤모델로 삼아 검도를 시작했다. 그러나 대회에서 한계를 느끼고 검도를 그만두려는 형을 보며, 정균은 오히려 형을 돕게 되고, 그 과정에서 자신도 누군가의 롤모델이 될 수 있음을 깨닫는다.
A family drama about Jung-kyun, who admires his brother Jung-ho, a dedicated kumdo practitioner. When Jung-ho struggles and quits, Jung-kyun helps him and realizes he can also be a role model.
형은 나의 롤모델이었지만, 동시에 서로 의지하며 도움을 주고받는 관계였다. 나는 이 감정을 영화로 표현하고 싶었다. 누구나 누군가의 롤모델이 될 수 있으며, 롤모델도 또 다른 롤모델을 가지고 있다는 메시지를 전하고 싶었다.
My brother was my role model, but we also supported and relied on each other. Through this film, I want to express that anyone can be a role model, and even role models have someone they look up to.

One day, a word resounded through the church. “Homosexuality is a sin!” What made them sinners? We decide to dig into the long-standing notions and truths of homosexuality in the Bible.
성소수자를 죄인이라고 말하는 이들에게, 또한 세상의 모든 혐오자들에게, 혐오에 대한 의문을 던지고 싶다. 우리들은 남 을 심판할 수 있는 존재인가?
To those who say that sexual minorities are sinners, and also to all the haters in the world, I’d like to ask a question about hatred. Are we qualified to judge others?

On the way to Soyeon's track and field competition as a school representative, an acquaintance collapses ahead of the start of the race, and Soyeon bursts into suppressed emotions.
가족이란 울타리 안에서 온전히 사랑을 느끼지 못하고 비뚫어진 사람들의 시선을 담아내고자 했다. 모든 사람들이 아직 느끼진 못해도 언젠가 온몸으로 사랑을 받고 있다는 것을 알 수 있을 것이라고 생각한다.
I feel completely in love within the fence of family. I tried to capture the eyes of people who couldn't do it and were seen through it.
