2026 경기필름스쿨페스티벌의 개최를 진심으로 축하드리며, 자신의 작품을 선보이는 모든 청년 영화인 여러분께 따뜻한 응원의 마음을 전합니다.
올해 경기필름스쿨페스티벌을 수원문화재단 수원시미디어센터에서 함께하게 되어 더욱 뜻깊게 생각합니다.
영화는 세상을 바라보는 저마다의 시선에서 시작됩니다. 경기필름스쿨페스티벌은 미래의 영화인들이 자신만의 목소리를 세상에 들려주고, 서로의 작품을 통해 배우며 성장하는 소중한 무대입니다.
특히 젊은 창작자들이 치열한 고민과 열정으로 완성한 작품들이 수원시미디어센터의 스크린을 통해 관객과 만나고, 그 안에서 새로운 대화와 가능성이 시작된다는 점에서 이번 영화제는 더욱 특별한 의미를 갖습니다.
이번 영화제가 작품을 선보이는 자리를 넘어 창작자와 관객이 서로 영감을 나누고, 여러분의 다음 작품을 향한 새로운 출발점이 되기를 바랍니다.
수원문화재단도 앞으로 청년 영화인들의 도전과 새로운 이야기가 더 많은 관객과 만날 수 있도록 지속적인 관심과 응원을 이어가겠습니다.

Hello, I am KWAK Doyong, President and CEO of the Suwon Cultural Foundation.
It is my great pleasure to congratulate you on the opening of the 2026 Gyeonggi Film School Festival, and I would like to extend my warmest support to all the young filmmakers presenting their work at this year’s festival.
It is especially meaningful to welcome the Gyeonggi Film School Festival to Suwon this year and to host it at the Suwon Media Center of the Suwon Cultural Foundation.
Every film begins with a unique way of seeing the world. The Gyeonggi Film School Festival provides a valuable platform for emerging filmmakers to share their own voices, learn from one another’s work, and grow together.
It is particularly meaningful that the films created through the passion, dedication, and thoughtful efforts of young filmmakers will meet audiences on the screens of the Suwon Media Center, opening up new conversations and possibilities.
I hope this festival will be more than an opportunity to present your work. May it become a place where filmmakers and audiences inspire one another, and a meaningful starting point for your next creative journey.
The Suwon Cultural Foundation will continue to support young filmmakers so that their challenges, ideas, and stories can reach wider audiences.
I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to the Gyeonggi Film School Association, the Gyeonggi Content Agency, and everyone who has worked hard to make this festival possible.

경기필름스쿨페스티벌 2026을 찾아주신 관객 여러분께 깊이 감사드리며, 진심으로 환영의 인사를 전합니다.
‘창조, 도전, 소통’이라는 가치를 중심에 두고 걸어온 경기필름스쿨페스티벌은 어느덧 12번째 해를 맞이하게 되었습니다. 지난 시간 동안 이 영화제는 단순한 상영의 장을 넘어, 새로운 시선과 감각을 지닌 청년 영화인들이 자신의 목소리를 발견하고 확장해 나가는 의미 있는 플랫폼으로 자리해왔습니다. 우리는 이 자리에서 수많은 첫 시작과 가능성의 순간들을 함께 목격해왔습니다.
특히 올해는 새롭게 두 개의 국내 대학이 영화제에 함께하게 되며, 경기필름스쿨페스티벌의 지평을 한층 더 확장하는 계기가 되었습니다. 서로 다른 교육 환경과 창작 배경을 지닌 학생들이 한자리에 모여 만들어내는 다양한 시선과 표현은, 영화제를 더욱 풍성하게 만드는 중요한 원동력이 될 것입니다.
올해 역시 각기 다른 질문과 감각을 지닌 젊은 창작자들의 작품들이 관객 여러분과의 만남을 기다리고 있습니다. 이 작품들에는 동시대를 살아가는 청년들의 고민과 실험, 그리고 아직 완결되지 않은 미래를 향한 사유가 담겨 있습니다. 관객 여러분께서 이 영화들을 통해 새로운 시선을 마주하고, 또 다른 대화의 계기를 만들어가시기를 기대합니다.
이 영화제가 지속될 수 있도록 아낌없는 지원과 협력을 보내주신 경기도와 경기콘텐츠진흥원, 그리고 수원문화재단에 깊은 감사의 말씀을 드립니다. 각 기관의 헌신적인 지원이 있었기에 본 영화제가 청년 영화인들의 창작 기반으로 자리매김할 수 있었습니다. 앞으로도 경기필름스쿨페스티벌이 더 넓은 가능성을 향해 나아갈 수 있도록 지속적인 관심과 성원을 부탁드립니다.

Guided by the values of “Creativity, Challenge, and Communication,” the Gyeonggi Film School Festival celebrates its 12th edition this year. Over the years, the festival has grown beyond a platform for screening films into a meaningful space where emerging filmmakers with fresh perspectives and creative sensibilities can discover and expand their own voices. Along the way, we have had the privilege of witnessing countless first steps and moments of possibility.
This year is especially meaningful as two new universities in Korea join the festival, further broadening the scope of the Gyeonggi Film School Festival. Bringing together students from diverse educational environments and creative backgrounds, the festival continues to be enriched by the wide range of perspectives and forms of expression they bring.
Once again, works by young filmmakers with distinct questions and sensibilities await their encounter with audiences. These films reflect the concerns and experiments of a generation living in the present, as well as their thoughts on a future still taking shape. We hope these works offer audiences an opportunity to encounter new perspectives and open the door to new conversations.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Gyeonggi Province, the Gyeonggi Content Agency, and the Suwon Cultural Foundation for their generous support and cooperation in making this festival possible. Their dedicated support has enabled the festival to establish itself as a vital foundation for young filmmakers and their creative journeys. ‘영크크‘ 여러분들 안녕하세요? 제12회 경기필름스쿨페스티벌 공동집행위원장 ’늙크크‘ 류훈입니다. 벌써 12년째군요. 처음 이 영화제가 만들어졌을 때 저도 이렇게 ’늙크크‘는 아니었는데 시간이 참 무심히 흘렀습니다.
영화 한 편을 만드는 건 늘 그렇듯 낭만과 고통, 그리고 ‘과연 이게 끝이 날까?’라는 합리적 의구심의 연속입니다. 밤샘 촬영과 컵라면으로 버티던 그 절박한 피·땀·눈물이 마침내 오늘, 이렇게 멋진 결실을 보았습니다.
경기필름스쿨페스티벌은 경기 지역 9개 대학과 3개 예술고등학교가 만들어가는 국내 유일의 학생 영화 축제입니다. 특히 올해는 평택대와 중앙대 안성캠퍼스가 새롭게 힘을 보태주어 판이 한층 더 커지고 풍성해졌습니다. 식구가 늘어났으니 앞으로 얼마나 더 흥미진진해질지 벌써 기대가 됩니다.
오늘 여러분이 만나실 작품들은 훗날 세계를 무대로 뛰어놀 창작자들의 ‘눈부신 첫걸음’입니다. 조금 서툴더라도 세상을 향한 청춘들의 거침없는 상상력에 아낌없는 박수를 보내주십시오.
영화에 미쳐 며칠 밤을 지새운 학생 스태프들과 힘을 모아주신 각 학교 관계자분들께 깊이 감사드립니다.

Hello, Young Creator Crew! I’m Ryu Hoon, Co-Chair of the Executive Committee for the 12th Gyeonggi Film School Festival, representing the “Old Creator Crew.” It’s already been twelve years. Believe it or not, when this festival first started, I was still much closer to the Young Creator Crew myself.
Making a film, as always, is a journey filled with romance, pain, and the perfectly reasonable question: “Is this thing ever going to be finished?” All those desperate nights spent filming until dawn, surviving on cup noodles, and pouring in blood, sweat, and tears have finally paid off today in the form of these wonderful films.
The Gyeonggi Film School Festival is Korea’s only student film festival jointly created by nine universities and three arts high schools in the Gyeonggi region. This year, Pyeongtaek University and Chung-Ang University’s Anseong Campus have joined us, making the festival even bigger and richer than before. With more members joining the family, I’m already excited to see just how much more interesting things will become.
The films you are about to see today represent the “brilliant first steps” of creators who may one day take their talents to the world stage. They may still be a little rough around the edges, but I hope you will give a big round of applause to the fearless imagination of these young filmmakers as they take on the world.
My deepest gratitude goes to the student staff who stayed up night after night for their love of film, and to everyone at the participating schools who joined forces to make this festival possible.
I hope you lose yourselves in these frames of youth, enjoy every moment, and let the films move you deeply.
