걸스카우트 캠프에 간 미연과 하경. 캠프 첫날 밤, 하경은 미연의 볼에 뽀뽀를 하고 미연은 하경의 장난이 점차 거슬린다.

At a Girl Scout camp, two teenage girls, Mi-yeon and Ha-kyung, spend their first night there.
When Ha-kyung kisses Mi-yeon on the cheek, what seems like a harmless joke gradually begins to unnerve Mi-yeon.

미성숙한 아이들은 제각기 다른 성장통을 겪는다. 방황하는 아이의 성장통마저 허용하지 않는 사회의 폭력성을 보여주고자 한다.

Before reaching maturity, every child endures their own struggle of growth. I aimed to expose the violence of society that refuses to even acknowledge the growing pains of a drifting child.

9.18. - 12.18.

후천적 사고로 한 쪽 다리가 의족인 온유(18, 여)와 평소 남의 시선을 신경 쓰는 모범생 수아(18, 여). 수아는 혜택을 받기 위해, 온유의 도우미가 되어달라는 선생님의 부탁을 승낙한다. 온유와, 그녀를 수단시하던 수아는 함께 짝줄넘기 수행평가를 준비하며 점차 가까워지기 시작한다.

Onyu (18, female), who has one leg amputated due to acquired thinking, and Sua (18, female), a model student who is usually sensitive to other people’s gazes. To receive the benefits, Sua agrees to the teacher’s request to become Onyu’s helper. Onew and Sua, who had been using her as a means, begin to grow closer as they prepare together for a paired jump rope performance assessment.

장애를 가진 사람들은 반드시 누군의 도움이 필요한 존재일까? 라는 질문에서 시작한 영화입니다. 장애인에게 먼저 도움을 주는 것이 옳다고 생각할 수 있지만, 그 또한 편견일 수 있습니다. 그들은 우리와 다를 것 없는 존재이고, 스스로 행동할 수 있습니다. 자신도 모르게 가지고 있는 장애인에 대한 편견들이 제 영화를 통해 해소되었으면 하는 바람입니다.

Do people with disabilities really need someone’s help? It is a film that began with that question. You may think that helping people first is the right thing to do, but that too can be a prejudice. They are beings no different from us and can act on their own. I hope that the prejudices I had unconsciously held about people with disabilities will disappear through my film.
